The Refresh Glass Process
Bottle Rescue
We work with our community collection partners to divert hundreds of thousands of bottles every year that would have otherwise ended up in landfills. We collect them weekly in our box truck and take them back to our shop to begin the transformation process.
Label removal
We have removed millions of lables over the years. This is one of the labor intensive processes since there are a few different types of adhesives used on bottle labels.
Rim Melting
We custom built equipment that uses an array of torches to melt the wine bottle glass rims at a temperature of around 1500 degrees Fahrenheit.
Stress Relieving
We use an oven treatment process called annealing that makes our glassware super sturdy and dishwasher safe so they will last for years. We have sold our glasses to high volume restaurants that use them every day.
Custom Engraving
We do custom decoration for a single glass. We love the reviews we get and highly reccomend using someone's last name as the word engraved because it resonates with the entire family.
Packaging & Presentation
What we really do, is to provide you with a gift that those you care about will use and keep, that also aligns with innovative, USA made, and eco values. They feel great in your hand and look stylish on a table. Engraving a last name will really seal the appeal and long term use.
